Coaching works because it brings out your best. A coach believes you can create your own best answers and is trained to support you in that process.
My job is creating a container for you to try out new ways of being. As your coach, I will support you by:

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A COACHING SESSION?
The focus for our sessions is set by you! Prior to each session you have an opportunity to complete a preparation form that includes guiding questions about what you want to explore, gain claity on, or accomplish that will help form a flexible agenda for our conversation.
My role is to be your thinking partner during sessions. I will invite you to find a more powerful sense of self using a holistic approach, including listening for your hidden strengths, limiting beliefs or interpretations, and habitual ways of seeing yourself and the world. Together we will create practical actions and practices to take away with you to help you build your ‘internal toolbox’ between sessions.
HOW ARE COACHING SESSIONS HELD?
Sessions are held via Skype or Zoom (or phone, if your internet connection isn’t reliable). This allows me to work with people around the world and support you if you’re in another time zone.
I’m also available for limited in-person sessions within Calgary. If you would prefer in-person sessions, please speak to me about this during your 30-minute complementary Insight Session.

Coaching can help you focus on things that are meaningful and essential tasks that will make the biggest impact in life and work. Coaching can reveal your assumptions about activities that don’t light you up (other peoples’ priorities and obligations, chores, screen time) and help you shift time towards investing in things that you excel at and are inspired by.
I'M ALL ABOUT THE EVIDENCE. DOES COACHING ACTUALLY WORK?
You’re in good company – I’m a research junkie too! Even though my clients have had loads of breakthroughs, anecdotal reports aren’t the gold standard in our world.
Two recent meta-analyses of the effectiveness of coaching suggest that coaching has significant positive effects on coachee behavioural change (a key coaching objective), leadership and skills development, well-being, coping, stress reduction, self-efficacy, and goal-directed self-regulation (Theeboom et al., 2014; Sonesh et al., 2015).

WHAT IF I FIND COACHING ISN'T WORKING FOR ME? DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?
Please schedule a complementary 30-minute Insight Session to ensure that we are a good match. I only work with individuals who I believe that I can help and who are a good match for my coaching style.
I do not offer refunds on coaching, as I cannot get back the time spent with you during sessions nor the time spent preparing outside of sessions. If in the rare case that you are not satisfied with our coaching relationship, you can request a refund on unused coaching time.

Clients who have the greatest success commit to and buy-into the process. This is related to the concept of self-determination: the more that a client commits and believes in the coaching process, the more likely the process will work. When clients ‘try out’ or feel like they are being imposed upon, the less likely coaching will work. Think about the free courses you’ve taken – what kind of impact did those have on your life? How much effort did you invest in that course? A financial commitment is a test of your commitment to change.
Success requires an investment and commitment – it could be time, money, or energy. You are the only one who can decide if you’re ready to commit to yourself and your goals. What would it take for you to create your ideal life? What is stopping you? If this is an issue, we can discuss the mindset that is keeping you stuck and a payment plan during an Insight Session.

If you are ready to get started, complete the Application Form and let me know which program you’re interested in. After I get your responses, I will schedule a 30-minute Insight Session. Since coaching is a partnership, I only work with individuals who I can genuinely help and who fit within my specialties.
During the Insight Session, you can ask me anything. Once we’ve determined there’s a good fit for a coaching relationship, I will then send you links to complete your program booking.
